Spring-themed Springerle Cookies

Spring-themed Springerle cookies.  Springerle is an old German recipe that is a thicker cake-like cookie with a light crusty top.  The dough is pressed into wooden molds, creating intricate designs.  The process to create and bake is time intensive, but worth every bite! Cookies are hand-painted with an edible powder paint.

Listing is priced per 10 cookies, six different images.   Minimum order is one set of 10 cookies.

The cookies are individually wrapped and heat sealed in clear cellophane bags for freshness.  Stored in an airtight container, Springerle cookies last for two to three months, and actually taste better with age.
