FAQ's

How long does shipping take?

Cookies are shipped via USPS using one to four day priority mail (the most cost effective and secure method).  Please make sure that the address you provide when ordering is the correct one for shipping.

How are cookies boxed for shipping?

After bagging your cookies, we wrap each in bubble wrap and layer them in a beribboned protective box, which is then bubble wrapped in an outer box to prevent movement while shipping.

How do I store the cookies and how long will they stay fresh?

The cookies are individually wrapped and heat sealed in clear cellophane bags for freshness.  They will stay fresh for 14 days in their sealed bags at room temperature.  They can also be frozen if you need to preserve them for a later date.

Can I order an amount less than one dozen?

To keep prices down, the minimum order is one dozen.

Can I get a discount on a large volume order?

Because the cost of ingredients and ink is quite high, we are unable to offer discounts at this time.  Please contact us if you have an order of more than 500 cookies.

Are rush orders available?

The direct print technology requires a 48-hour process to ice and dry.  Shipped cookies may be able to be ordered with a three-day notice and 2-day or overnight shipping (which is vert costly).  For local pickup, a minimum 48-hour notice is required.

What ingredients are in the cookies?

Sugar cookies contain flour, salt, baking powder, butter, eggs, sugar, agave syrup and vanilla extract. Flavor variations include cocoa, cardamom, lemon emulsion, lemon zest and almond emulsion.

Springerle cookies contain cake flour, powdered sugar, butter, eggs, baker's ammonia, salt and flavoring oil.

Is a gluten free alternative available?

Yes! We use a high quality gluten free flour and almond flour at a 3:1 ratio. Neither the royal icing nor the print ink contains gluten.

How do you print directly onto a cookie?

The printer is the only FDA approved printer in the US and prints with an edible, water-based ink.
